ALPMA Connect
At the European exhibition for packaging, processes and technology the interest was huge. Around 44,000 trade visitors took advantage of FachPack 2019 in Nuremberg to find out about innovations and trends in the packaging industry from 1,591 exhibitors. Significantly more visitors than in previous years came from the foreign countries. A very successful FachPack 2019 ends for ALPMA, the exhibition presentation was a complete success.
The team is delighted with the many existing and new contacts, good discussions and the great interest in information - especially about the exhibition innovations CUT 32/Plus, the electronic eagle eye and the electronic spare parts catalogue, in short APSIS 4.0 (ALPMA Parts and Service Information System).
Cut 32/Plus
With the CUT 32/Plus, ALPMA now offers a model that increases the performance of the CUT 32 by up to 25 percent without requiring more space. The highlight: The new model works with two sliders. This significantly reduces downtimes, especially when processing shorter bars. In practice, this means up to 25 percent more output of cheese pieces in the same time!
In addition, the Plus model - like all other cutting machines - scores with a particularly intuitive user interface. By using standard symbols, as we know them from our smartphone, many functions are self-explanatory and language-independent. This is an advantage that many of our customers already use and greatly appreciate. Just like the personalized login of the operator to the machine using an RFID chip. Changes to machine parameters by the operator and important production data are logged and can be used, for example, for quality management or analyses to increase productivity.
The electronic eagle eye
With the electronic eagle eye, ALPMA presents a new solution for more product safety in automated cheese processing. Over the years, ALPMA has researched and developed an inspection device that reliably identifies mold and film fragments and alerts. Thanks to modern camera technology and a lighting system developed in-house, ALPMA achieved impressive results. During tests in a production plant, the ALPMA inspection device examined a large selection of cheese surfaces and achieved a hit rate of almost 100 percent.
APSIS 4.0 - the electronic spare parts catalogue
With the help of a digital image of your plant(s) in the APSIS 4.0 (ALPMA Parts and Service Information System), you can navigate through your plant in no time and locate spare parts. You can then check their availability and display prices in the integrated webshop. Operation is intuitive and self-explanatory. You can also add notes and save documentation.
